31 for 21 - A Rare Treasure

Today I wanted to share with you a blog by another family.  The Mussers have two lovely daughters with down syndrome.

Katie (on the right) has become well known in the adoption community because last spring when she was adopted by her family she was 9 years old and weighed 9 pounds.

No, that is not a typo.

Watching Katie blossom has been a true blessing.   I also love hearing about little Verity (on the left) who is about 2 years old now.

Verity's mom wrote today, "I feel like we were gifted the rarest kind of treasure".  I couldn't agree more when thinking about my two girls with down syndrome.
